Over 1,300 participants from all over the world will have the opportunity to meet some of the currently biggest developer faces and discuss current topics such as artificial intelligence, Blockchain, and decentralized applications.
This year’s seventh SHIFT conference will bring together developer faces, experts, and young enthusiasts from all over the world in one place over two days, on May 31 and June 1, with some of the world’s leading experts confirming their attendance.
Over two days, in the unique ambiance of the Croatian National Theatre in Split, Håkon Wium Lie (Creator of CSS), Mathias Meyer (CEO – TravisCI), DeVaris Brown (Product Manager – Heroku), Luca Cipriani (CIO – Arduino), Marc Abraham (Global Product Tank Coordinator – Mind the Product), and Cyrille Fauvel (Worldwide Sr. Manager – Autodesk) will discuss standard topics related to web and mobile development but will also address the most current IT topics that are written about daily.

Among the mentioned names, the Norwegian web pioneer, Håkon Wium Lie, founder of the Pirate Party of Norway and former chief technology officer of Opera software, stands out, having been named one of the Top 100 innovators by MIT Technology Review in the 90s. The name DeVaris Brown has been associated since 2016 with one of the most successful American non-profit projects, #FloodgateAcademy, which aims to help young talented individuals develop skills and knowledge within their community, i.e., educate them to become the new generation of DevOps engineers. Marc Abraham, a long-time ‘digital nomad’, will also discuss daily developer challenges and trends emerging in the U.S. market, one of the most dynamic IT markets in the world.
