This year’s fair season at the Zagreb Fair (ZV) began on Wednesday with the opening of the 27th ‘Nautica’, the largest in this decade, and the 10th international fair of gastronomy, hotel and catering equipment ‘Hotel&Gastroteh’, while the Olive Festival opens on Friday.
In six pavilions as part of Nautica, more than 200 vessels are exhibited, including 24 Croatian and two world premieres. ZV Director Dina Tomšić thanked Croatian shipbuilders at the opening for recognizing the Zagreb fair as a good business opportunity.
– ZV has justified the trust of exhibitors and visitors over the past two years, which would not have been possible without the great support of the city of Zagreb. In the past two years, we have halved the losses of the fair, said Tomšić.
She also highlighted the participation of the Italian province of Calabria, for the first time at the Zagreb nautical fair.

A total of 455 exhibitors are showcasing across 19,000 square meters at all three events, representing a four percent increase compared to last year’s events. Exhibitors from 25 countries are participating, with a noticeable increase in exhibition space per exhibitor alongside a ten percent growth in total exhibition area.
This year’s Nautica has also gathered numerous exhibitors of outboard motors, various nautical equipment and supplies for boats and yachts, diving and fishing gear, as well as nautical clothing and footwear.
