The president of the Most Independent Lists, Božo Petrov, stated at a press conference in Zadar that, following the commissioner for Agrokor, Ante Ramljak, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Martina Dalić, should also resign, and he urged the Prime Minister to make decisions and propose a new commissioner to avoid further damage.
“I think it is completely clear that the position of the former commissioner for Agrokor, Ante Ramljak, has become unsustainable after the scandal with the salaries of advisors. He is a protégé of Martina Dalić, and she is not a choice of the HDZ, but of Andrej Plenković. Prime Minister Plenković has only caused paralysis with his silence. A decision should have been made 15 to 20 days ago about what will be done in Agrokor and who will replace Mr. Ramljak,” said Petrov.

Although the topic of the conference, which was also attended by Most MP Miro Bulj, was the proposal for a decision on the declaration of the exclusive economic zone of the Republic of Croatia, which the Most Independent Lists submitted to parliamentary procedure, most of the statements related to the current situation regarding Agrokor.
Petrov called on Prime Minister Andrej Plenković to, as he said, “finally come out of his fortress and no longer provoke instability and make a decision and announce the name of the new commissioner so that we do not suffer further damage.”
“Martina Dalić and Ante Ramljak are a tandem chosen by Andrej Plenković. In my opinion, both she and he should resign. What is happening in recent days I would compare to the series ‘Life in the North’. Just remember those fantastic characters,” added the president of Most.
He stated that it is time to start making decisions.

“Martina Dalić is a person of personal trust to Andrej Plenković, and he has made that very clear. Croatia has been operating on autopilot for the last 15 to 20 days,” Petrov asserted in response to a journalist’s question about the status of Deputy Prime Minister Martina Dalić.
He does not expect that processes in Agrokor will slow down or be poorly executed.
“I do not expect that processes in Agrokor will be slowed down or poorly executed regardless of who will lead them because it is known who manages those processes. The commissioners have the main say here,” he concluded.
MP Miro Bulj believes that Martina Dalić should have left long ago because, as he stated, she is in a conflict of interest.

Speaking about the proposal for a decision on the declaration of the exclusive economic zone of the Republic of Croatia, which the Most Independent Lists submitted to parliamentary procedure, Petrov emphasized that Croatia can do this under the UN Resolution on the Law of the Sea and reminded the EU members to do the same.
“We are doing all this for the future and the new generations to come. It is not only about economic benefit but also about protecting the sea. We must not be shortsighted,” he emphasized, assessing that it is unclear how the Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared the issue of the economic zone as irrelevant.
“We must not be afraid of this; we must protect what is ours,” Petrov stated.
MP Miro Bulj emphasized that the right to declare the economic zone is the most strategically important thing for Croatia.
