Grmoja: The Prime Minister emphasized how everything is beyond his power, he wanted to wash his hands of it all

The political secretary of Most, Nikola Grmoja, stated on Wednesday, after Prime Minister Andrej Plenković’s press conference regarding the extraordinary administration process in Agrokor, that he has the impression that the Prime Minister “wanted to wash his hands of the entire case” but also added that Most will take “concrete steps with colleagues from the opposition and decide on initiating a vote of no confidence in the Government or some members of the Government.”

“The impression is that Prime Minister Plenković wanted to wash his hands of the entire case. He did not want to clearly stand in defense of Minister Dalić. He leaves the impression of a man with his hands tied, who does not know what to do and has no solution. That is why he told us at one point that he is addressing us as the Prime Minister, but also as a man, he wanted to emphasize how everything is beyond his power,” Grmoja stated to Hina.

He is also convinced that the Prime Minister does not have the courage to deal with this case because “it does not depend only on the economic system, but, as is quite obvious, on Plenković’s position.”

“He is aware, he knows what is at stake. Mentioning travels around the world now remains just his fantasy for what he had planned. And it is extremely important to emphasize that Ramljak’s departure with money in his pocket, without an investigation into everything he leaves behind, is not a solution but just the beginning of the problem,” emphasized the political secretary of Most.

Regarding the reconstruction of the government, Grmoja states, “we will not speculate but will take concrete steps with colleagues from the opposition and decide on initiating a vote of no confidence in the Government or some members of the Government.”
