The Financial Agency (Fina) today in Split provides the service of exchanging foreign currency into kuna through a self-service currency exchange, i.e., an automated machine at the beginning of Marmontova Street within Fina’s Riva branch, it was announced on Wednesday by Fina.
The service is available 24 hours a day, and no commission is charged. Through Fina’s self-service currency exchange, it is possible to exchange euro, Swiss franc, US dollar, and British pound banknotes into Croatian kuna, with a maximum amount per transaction equivalent to 2,500 kuna.

The machine can accept multiple foreign banknotes of a single currency at once. The most common currency, the euro, can be exchanged through the self-service currency exchange in denominations of 10, 20, 50, 100, and 200 euros.
The self-service currency exchange in Split is the second one that Fina has offered to its clients. The first was installed in front of Fina’s branch in Rovinj on February 1, and there are plans to install more such devices in high-traffic locations across the country, the announcement states. Fina has been conducting currency exchange operations in its branches since 2003, as an authorized exchange office of the Croatian Postal Bank.
