Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Monday criticized the European Union’s asylum policy and called on the pan-European bloc to better control its borders, instead of focusing on where to relocate refugees who have already arrived in Europe.
“The EU must not focus on the redistribution of refugees granted asylum, but on border control,” Orban said after a meeting with Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.

“Migration threatens our security, our way of life, and Christian culture,” he added, describing the inevitable increase in the number of migrants as a “black cloud hanging over Europe.”
According to him, if this trend continues, the majority of European countries will become Muslim.
“Nations will disappear, the West will fall, and Europe will not even realize it is occupied,” Orban believes.

Orban, who has distinguished himself as a leader of the anti-immigrant wing of Central and Eastern European countries in the EU opposing Germany’s open-door policy, accused “politicians in Brussels, Berlin, and Paris” of endangering Europe.
“Western Europe will become an immigration zone, a world with a mixed population, while Central Europe will go in the other direction,” Orban said.
