The University of Dubrovnik is organizing the Career Day for the fifth time, which will take place on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at the university building located at Lapadska obala. This year’s theme of the Career Day is “Freelancing – the present, the future, or both?”, and the program is designed to include several panel discussions, lectures, and workshops where participants – entrepreneurs, company representatives, and alumni will discuss essential aspects of freelancing in the digital age. There will also be discussions about possible difficulties, obstacles, and pitfalls that await those who choose this professional path, but participants will also highlight the positive aspects of this mode of employment to students.
The introductory panel discussion, scheduled for 10 AM, will gather television journalist and editor Goran Milić, Karla Andrić from the Croatian Association of Independent Professionals, Marijana Puljas from the Development Agency of the City of Dubrovnik DURA, co-founder and CEO of Startaparat Helena Rosandić, and the director of the Human Resources Department for Business Support at Hrvatski Telekom Iva Lopac Butorac.
