The zoo explains that in the animal world, size is just one of the characteristics. Small animals can be extremely dangerous, and even the largest can be very fast.
European bison may appear sluggish and slow at first glance, but they are actually excellent runners. When they sense danger, they can even jump. Some spiders, snakes, and frogs can defend themselves with venom against animals that are thousands of times larger.
