Director Martina Ravlić Janković, on behalf of DI Slavonija d.o.o. and Strizivojna Hrast d.o.o. and the Ravlić family, denies the claims in the article “Slavonski hrast: Only Škegro and Ravlići Against the Distribution of Croatian Forests” published on February 16, 2018, in issue 646 of Lider.
“The text states that during the voting for the Letter of Understanding regarding the distribution of raw materials, the only ones against were Škegro and Ravlići, which is not a true statement.
‘Ravlići’, or the owners and representatives of DI Slavonija d.o.o. and Strizivojna hrast d.o.o., were not present at the meeting of the Council of the Association of the Wood Processing Industry of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce during the voting for the final text of the Letter of Understanding (PR) on December 15, 2017. This can be proven if a list of attendees from the meeting is requested from the Croatian Chamber of Commerce.
At that time, the PR was signed by the president of the Association of the Wood Processing Industry of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and the president and members of the Management Board of Croatian Forests d.o.o. At previous meetings of the Association, we expressed only dissatisfaction regarding one point of the PR, specifically concerning the limitation of further growth and development of companies due to quantity restrictions, and in no case were we AGAINST the other points of the PR,” wrote Director Martina Ravlić Janković in the denial of the published information.
