Global 500: PwC Leads in the Professional Services Sector in the Global Brand Index

PwC leads the intellectual services sector as one of the 50 best global brands, according to the annual Brand Finance Global 500 survey. The Global 500 is a list of the strongest and most valuable global brands, with the technology sector dominating the top positions.

Brand Strength and Value

The report evaluates organizations in two main categories – the strength and value of their brand. Brand strength is calculated using multiple metrics that include marketing, brand perception, and business performance relative to competitors. The brand strength score contributes to the overall brand value calculation.

PwC ranked 50th in brand value, a shift from last year’s 66th position. This makes PwC the highest-ranked brand in the intellectual services sector in the index. The results confirm the leading position of our network in providing intellectual services as one of the top brands in the world in 2018.

– The strength of our brand comes from the contributions of our employees, supported by long-term investments we make in transforming our own technology, services, and skills. Overall, this index shows that long-established brands like ours are as strong as newcomers in the technology and consumer sectors. This is crucial for our strategy to attract and develop talented individuals who drive our growth in new, technologically advanced markets, both with startups and established companies, comments Bill Cobourn, Global Marketing Director at PwC.
