Members of the Osijek ORaH Join the ‘Decisive’ HNS

About 20 members of the Osijek organization of the Sustainable Development of Croatia (ORaH) will join the Croatian People’s Party (HNS), and it is expected that other members in the Osijek-Baranja County will do the same, they reported on Monday at a press conference in the Osijek HNS.

HNS Member of Parliament Stjepan Čuraj assessed at the press conference that the former members of ORaH made an excellent choice by joining HNS, as HNS “puts content and results in the foreground, ahead of stories and empty ideologies,” which, he believes, is slowly becoming recognizable throughout Croatia.

Continuation of Political Activity

The former president of the Osijek ORaH organization, Mladen Čabarkapa, assessed that ORaH “is slowly disappearing from the political scene due to a combination of circumstances,” so the Osijek and county organizations, “encouraged by the determination of HNS leadership in implementing the urgently needed reforms of the education system, economy, and judiciary, decided to continue their political activity in HNS.”

We have no doubt that through the synergy of ideas we will contribute to the implementation of these reforms for the benefit of all our citizens, he added.

When asked by journalists how many members of ORaH have joined HNS, Čabarkapa replied that it is expected that about 20 members of the Osijek city organization will join HNS for now, at the county level more than 15 members have confirmed their transition, and how many there will be in total will be shown by time.
