Petrov: Who Will You Say Goodbye to These Days – the Youth, Responsible for the Chaos in Agrokor or Yourself?

The leader of Most, Božo Petrov, referring to the situation surrounding Agrokor, asked on Friday in the Parliament to whom one would say goodbye these days in five languages, and stated that “Croats did not fight for this kind of Croatia”.

To whom will one say goodbye these days and in how many languages, Petrov asked, telling his fellow representatives that they could say goodbye to the youth, responsible for the chaos in Agrokor, or to themselves for having appointed them.

– You depend on those who created chaos in Agrokor, and I primarily mean Deputy Prime Minister Martina Dalić and Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, without them, you would not exist either. Today you say goodbye, goodbye, auf wiedersehen, adio, na svidanie to the youth, Petrov said after a break at the beginning of the session.

He told the ruling party that they did not want to hear about Agrokor, Most forced them to open that topic in the Government, they did not want to hear what Ivica Todorić was doing, and he was ultimately forced to file a criminal complaint.

– We provided the opportunity for a clean start for the Croatian economy by voting for the infamous ‘lex Agrokor’ to prevent economic collapse and to allow those companies to enter the market normally. What have you done since then? After that, Most requested three commissioners, you refused. Most requested a different financing method, you refused. Most requested a different restructuring model so that there would be a number of independent Croatian companies, you are creating a new Agrokor, Petrov said.

– After the split with Most, you introduced a roll-up model, creating huge debts for Agrokor, that it cannot even cross your mind to dismiss Ante Ramljak. You brought in a vulture fund whose ownership you do not even know. You abolished the Investigative Committee so that it would not accidentally be heard who helped Ivica Todorić create such an Agrokor, Petrov accused the ruling party.

Today you are giving millions to your advisors across Agrokor. And because you do not care, ownership and management of tens of thousands of agricultural hectares of drinking water sources have been left to chaos and anarchy, while you talk about stability, Petrov accused.

Croats, he says, did not fight for this kind of Croatia – “so that some Škegra, Linić, Dalić, Plenković, Čačić, and similar people say that multi-million amounts for advisors are OK, that vulture funds are OK, that the sale of Croatia is OK, while children have to leave Croatia”.

– I am interested in when enough is enough, when you will start saying I know instead of I do not know, when you will stand behind your words? That is why I ask you in the end, to whom will you say goodbye these days – to the youth, responsible for the chaos in Agrokor or to yourself, Petrov asked.
