A 93-centimeter tall robot programmed with artificial intelligence interrupted the speech of the Turkish Minister of Information on Tuesday, which led to it being silenced and removed from the stage.
“Speak slower, I don’t understand what you’re talking about,” the Sanbot robot interjected during the speech of Communication Minister Ahmet Arslan about internet security.
The minister initially laughed at the interruptions, but Sanbot did not relent.

“What are you talking about?” the robot asked him as the minister continued his speech.
“It seems someone needs to put the robot under control,” Arslan said.
“Please, do what needs to be done,” the minister stated.

Assistants silenced Sanbot and removed it from the stage, reported the Haberturk network.
A video of the incident is circulating on Twitter and is being broadcast on local television.
