The president of the party Change Croatia, Ivan Lovrinović, stated on Monday, regarding the first arrests in the Agrokor case, that he expected arrests, especially after the findings of the audit, and announced that as a member of the parliamentary investigative commission for Agrokor, he will closely monitor the entire process, and the commission should continue to operate as a political body, without interfering in the DORH investigation.
“I expect that all those guilty, who are connected to any potential malfeasance in business, as well as those interest groups and politicians who were involved, will be held accountable before the public, the parliamentary commission, and the courts,” said Lovrinović.
He believes that the entire process, which has now split into two directions, needs to be monitored with extreme care – the judicial one, which includes investigations and charges, and the business one, which includes the restructuring of Agrokor, settling with suppliers and creditors, and continuing operations.
“This is a crucial moment for the company, and the party Change Croatia and I, as a member of the parliamentary investigative commission, will ensure that interest groups do not drive the final nail into its coffin,” Lovrinović emphasized.
