Deila says he has no intention of regularly giving key speeches before matches “as if born from a mother” because that would lose the surprise effect of that motivational maneuver.
This is a decision that the players will likely welcome.
“He wanted to take the weight off our shoulders and it worked. But no one is disappointed that he hasn’t repeated it,” said team captain Christian Grindheim.
