Reflecting at the beginning of the Government session on the recent publication of audit reports for Agrokor (tag) and its affiliated companies, Plenković said that the state of the financial records and the real situation revealed the depth of the problems that existed in the group.
He added that it was necessary to engage one of the leading global auditing firms to present the real state of affairs.
“The Law on Extraordinary Administration in Companies of Systemic Importance in the Republic of Croatia is a reform per se and it will mark that purgative transformational moment in the way of doing business in the Croatian economy. I believe that is the greatest value. Of course, we must not forget that the negative effect on the economy and the financial system, suppliers, small, medium, large, and family farms, and the stability of companies operating in neighboring countries has been prevented. All of this has been averted due to this law and the work of the extraordinary administration,” said Plenković.
