Applications are open for the fourth edition of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year program, the most prestigious global award for entrepreneurs awarded by the auditing and consulting firm EY. The EY Entrepreneur of the Year program is designed to promote innovation, success, and vision among those who have had the courage to step into the unpredictable and demanding entrepreneurial world, and through the previous three Croatian editions, more than ninety domestic entrepreneurs have participated in the program. Applications for participation in the program are open until November 10, and all entrepreneurs who meet the criteria can apply, as well as be nominated by others who recognize the value of their work. All applications can be submitted via the official program website ey.com/hr/eoy.

The EY Entrepreneur of the Year is a global program that promotes the achievements of the best entrepreneurs worldwide, launched over 30 years ago in the United States, and is now conducted in more than 60 countries around the world. At the heart of the program is the awarding of recognition to those who have successfully transformed an initial idea into a successful and dynamic business, thereby contributing to the development of the economy and society as a whole.
The finalists and the next Croatian EY Entrepreneur of the Year will be selected by an independent and expert jury, chaired this year by Emil Tedeschi, CEO of Atlantic Group. Alongside him, the jury will include Nenad Bakić and Saša Cvetojević, Croatian entrepreneurs and investors, Vedrana Jelušić Kašić, Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, and Slovakia, Professor Dr. Lajoš Žager, Dean of the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, as well as previous winners and titleholders of the Croatian EY Entrepreneur of the Year, Alan Sumina from Nanobit (2014), Đuro Horvat from Tehnix (2015), and Marko Pipunić from Žito (2016).
