The court announcement also calls on representatives of the Pirate Party (PS) to submit a list of the party’s assets and liabilities within 15 days, and if creditors and party representatives do not respond within the legally prescribed deadlines, the court will consider the debtor unable to pay and will ex officio issue a decision to open a simplified bankruptcy procedure.
The Pirate Party was registered in the political parties register in September 2011. The party’s headquarters is listed as Osječka 74a in Rijeka, with Maša Utković as the president and representative of the party, and Marijan Ferić listed as the vice president.
As leaders of this extra-parliamentary party have emphasized in the media, the Pirate Party in Croatia was formed when two Pirate Parties were established simultaneously – in Zagreb and Rijeka. These two groups merged and agreed to proceed with a joint founding as they advocated for the same ideas.
