IGH signed a contract with the Georgian Technical University

The IGH Institute has signed a cooperation agreement with the Georgian Technical University, it was announced on Tuesday from IGH.

The agreement provides for collaboration on the further development of academic programs, IGH’s activities in the work of the employers’ advisory council, internships for Georgian students at the IGH branch, and scholarships for the five most successful students of the master’s program at the local faculty of civil engineering.

In addition to signing the agreement, IGH’s management held meetings at the Georgian Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources, and with the companies Georgian Amelioration and Georgian Railways, with the aim of reviewing how IGH can assist in new projects as well as the implementation of European standards in Georgia, the statement said.

It is added that IGH is collaborating with the Georgian Ministry of Roads on the road infrastructure reconstruction project and on several road construction projects.

IGH began its activities in Georgia at the end of 2016, and today employs 68 professionals at its branch in Tbilisi, of which 16 are engineers from Croatia while the others are local employees.
