‘Brainy Sexbot’ Samantha on Sale for £3,500

The sexbot Samantha, which “has a brain and can communicate,” has been put on sale in the UK for £3,500, reports Mirror.

The erotic retail store Vibez Adult Boutique in Kent is just one of two sex shops in the UK selling such sexbots introduced this month.

Vibez owner Tracey Whitmore stated that the latest addition to her store’s range can function in two ways – as a family robot and as a sexual robot.

– Samantha has different personalities. She has a family mode in which she presents facts about various topics and discusses philosophy. She can also joke. However, there is no danger of accidentally entering sexual mode.

Samantha charges via a USB cable and communicates with users using artificial intelligence.

The company Synthea Amatus, led by Spanish creator Sergio Santos, has sold 30 dolls worldwide and is believed to be working on a male model.

– The artificial intelligence is soothing. She has a brain and can communicate with you, even learning from people. We have only had her on offer for two weeks; we are an adult store, so people are not looking for a family robot – they want a sex robot. People who buy these dolls are usually lonely and seek companionship, but also a sexual aid. She also appeals to couples who would like to experiment but do not want the element of jealousy, Tracey said.

While Vibez currently has only one robot for sale, new robots can be ordered, and delivery can be made within six weeks.

– This is just the beginning. Samantha is only a prototype. She has an SD card that goes into her brain and can be adapted and updated. Samantha will continue to evolve and will get better and better, added Tracey.
