The Croatian ‘steel’ online store The Steel is the first of its kind in Croatia and the region. It will offer more than one hundred thousand items and is specific due to the type of products it offers.
– Until now, you probably haven’t even thought about ordering a piece of metal online. We also offer the option to choose desired dimensions, any necessary finishing, and the delivery method throughout Croatia that best suits the customer,” says Marko Gelo, director of Frankstahl Zagreb, a subsidiary of the Austrian group Frankstahl, which operates in eight European countries.

Frankstahl’s vision is the digitalization of the entire business, so the online store was a logical step on that path. The targeted customers are all those who are ready for the future of steel trading and the acceleration of procurement processes in their companies, as well as small entrepreneurs. The project has been in development for five years and involved more than fifty IT specialists.
