Announcement of the most important events in Croatia for Wednesday, September 13:

ZADAR – Minister of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure Oleg Butković and Minister of Environment and Energy Tomislav Ćorić will visit Zadar. Ministers Butković and Ćorić will participate in a working meeting with the County Prefect of Zadar County Božidar Longin and the Mayor of the City of Zadar Branko Dukić. They will discuss the damages caused by the severe weather that hit Zadar and Zadar County and the possibilities for damage remediation (9 AM, Zadar County Building). After the meeting, they will visit the state road DC 8 Zadar – Ričine (bridge), the wastewater treatment plant in Zadar, the Poljica Brig-Nin road (Miljašić ditch), and the city of Nin, where media statements are planned.

ZAGREB – Meeting of the Program Council of Croatian Radio Television (HRT), with the agenda item being the Regulation on the Use of Social Media (11 AM, HRT, Prisavlje 3, Building B – 30, 1st floor, Hall 107).

VARAŽDIN – Signing of the partnership agreement between the City of Varaždin and 10 municipalities in the project “Aglomeracija” (10 AM, Varaždin City Hall). Along with the Mayor of Varaždin Ivan Čehok, the agreement will be signed by the mayors of the municipalities and representatives of Varkom, who will collaborate on the project worth several hundred million kuna. The signing of the agreement represents a kind of charter of cooperation among local government units on this, the largest project in Varaždin for the construction of communal infrastructure to date. The signing of the agreement between local government units is a prerequisite for the imminent signing of a contract with the Ministry of Environment and Energy, which is expected by the end of the month in Zagreb. The signatories will provide statements to journalists about the significance of this document.

SPLIT – Press conference on the occasion of the arrival of the relic of Saint Leopold Bogdan Mandić in Split. The conference will feature Damir Babić from the Split City Administration, Fra Miljenko Vrabec and Fra Žarko Lučić from the Sanctuary in Pojišan, and Silvana Burilović Crnov from the Press Office of the Split-Makarska Archdiocese, who will provide all necessary information related to the event (11 AM, Pojišansko Sanctuary).
