Pula Airport will welcome its 500,000th passenger this year at the beginning of next week, on Tuesday, September 12, which is the first time since Croatia’s independence, reported the director of the airport, Svemir Radmilo, to journalists on Friday.
Namely, after record results in the number of passengers and aircraft operations achieved in the past four months, the positive trend continues at Pula Airport in September.

– On Tuesday, September 12, Pula Airport will welcome its 500,000th passenger, which has not been seen at Pula Airport since Croatia’s independence, and we already surpassed last year’s figure of 436,121 passengers on August 26. So far, total traffic from January to August has increased by 31 percent compared to last year, noting that we were closed for almost two months for traffic due to runway resurfacing, Radmilo reported.
