It is a strange and surprising moment in which the Minister of State Property, Goran Marić, decided to dismiss the Management Board of Đuro Đaković. The public competition for the selection of candidates for the president and two members of the Management Board appeared on the website of the Ministry of State Property this Tuesday, exactly between the successfully completed recapitalization, through which the Management of the Slavonski Brod company raised 51 million kuna of fresh capital necessary for development, and the upcoming meeting of the company’s Assembly, which, in accordance with the newly established ownership relations, should elect a new supervisory board.

The Assembly of Đuro Đaković, one of the shareholders who wished to remain anonymous told us, is expected in the second half of September, and no one understands what Minister Goran Marić now wants to achieve.

– It seems that the state wants to go to war with other shareholders at that Assembly meeting, our source told us, quite furious at Marić’s move.

The mood among shareholders, both old and new who participated in the recently completed recapitalization, is, in fact, favorable to the current management, led by Tomislav Mazal, and it is entirely logical to expect that the new supervisory board will give that management a lot of trust.
