Due to the uncertain fiscal policy for investments in tourism and challenges in preparing the necessary technical documentation, Valamar Riviera is abandoning its investment in the Valamar Pinia Family Suites project in Poreč. This is a project worth 703.8 million kuna that was approved by the Supervisory Board of Valamar Riviera two and a half months ago.
– The final decision on investments for 2018 will be made by the Company at the end of November 2017 – states Valamar’s announcement on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.

As a reminder, the Valamar Pinia Family Suites project is part of the previously announced investment cycle amounting to two billion kuna by 2020.
