Samsung Electronics today held the Croatian premiere of the new Samsung Galaxy Note8 at the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb. The domestic premiere, held just 12 days after the global launch in New York, emphasized once again that this is a device intended for users who want to achieve more.

During the presentation of the new devices, Pavle Zobundžija, director of the telecommunications department at the regional office of Samsung Electronics, addressed the audience and emphasized: “Samsung first introduced the Note series of devices in 2011, which has since built a loyal community of enthusiasts. We are pleased that just 12 days after the global launch we can showcase the Galaxy Note8, a next-generation smartphone with a recognizable large screen and S Pen stylus, as well as a range of unique features and characteristics of the Galaxy series that have forever redefined the user experience.”

Endless Display

The Galaxy Note8 smartphone has the largest screen of all Note devices to date. The 6.3-inch Infinity Display features Quad HD+ resolution and Super AMOLED technology that allows users to see more with less scrolling. The Galaxy Note8 provides users with more space for viewing, reading, and drawing, making it a top device for multitasking.

Thanks to the new Pair app, Galaxy Note8 smartphone users can create a personalized pair of apps on the Edge menu and easily launch two apps at the same time. For example, watching a video while chatting with a friend or accessing a conference call while viewing its schedule.

– With the S Pen stylus, it is possible to discreetly write notes using the Screen off memo feature. Thanks to the Live Message feature, Galaxy Note8 users can express themselves more easily, revealing their personality and telling interesting stories. The Galaxy Note8 smartphone allows users to share animated text or drawings on all platforms that support animated GIFs. Adding vivid and emotional elements that will bring messages to life represents a completely new way of communicating with the S Pen stylus. The Always On Display feature allows Galaxy users to stay updated with all notifications without unlocking the phone. With the Galaxy Note8 device, this is now an even more powerful feature. The Screen off memo allows users to jot down up to a hundred notes as soon as they take the S Pen stylus, place the notes on the Always On Display, and edit directly on the Always On Display.

For users who are constantly on the go or when a user encounters a webpage in a foreign language, the enhanced S Pen Translate feature allows for quick translation not only of individual words but also entire sentences into 71 languages, as well as automatic conversion of foreign currencies and measurement units.

– Samsung has always been focused on setting new standards for camera quality on smartphones, and the Galaxy Note8 is their best camera yet. The impressive Live Focus feature allows control over the depth of field in photos by enabling users to adjust the bokeh effect while viewing photos and after taking a photo, as well as Dual Capture, which allows both rear cameras to capture simultaneously – one wide and the other narrow angle – said renowned Croatian photographer Damir Hoyka during the device presentation.

The design of the Galaxy Note8 smartphone is based on the legacy of Galaxy devices. Four years ago, Samsung introduced the first Galaxy device that was water-resistant. Today, Note devices can be taken almost anywhere thanks to the water and dust resistance (IP68) of the device itself as well as the S Pen stylus, and you can write even when the screen is wet.
