Mario Radić new chairman of the Supervisory Board of Pevec

The Supervisory Board (NO) of Pevec has elected Mario Radić as its chairman, while the former chairman Željko Mandić has become his deputy, thus the Supervisory Board now operates in full composition, the retail chain reported on Wednesday.

The General Assembly of Pevec, held in early August, elected Mario Radić as the missing member of the Supervisory Board.

With the appointment of Radić as chairman of the Supervisory Board, the structure of the company’s bodies has been consolidated, which is set for stronger expansion and the growth of the sales network, Pevec emphasized in today’s statement. Radić is an entrepreneur with respectable experience, one of the two founders of the company Dicentra d.o.o. from Osijek, which holds the largest share package and has a qualified stake in the capital of Pevec. Additionally, Mario Radić is a co-founder of the companies Filir d.o.o. and BOBI Snacks d.o.o., the statement notes.

According to the latest data from the Central Clearing and Depository Company, Dicentra holds 23.68 percent of Pevec’s shares.

In addition to overseeing the management’s operations, the Supervisory Board will, using its advisory function in collaboration with Pevec’s management, influence the new business policy to ensure the stability of the company and protect the interests of all shareholders, Radić’s statement conveyed in Pevec’s announcement.
