– Ivan Kovačić and other ministers will resign today. Let Plenković prove he has a majority. Plenković and Marić are covering up crime in Agrokor. We will not play games like HDZ did last year to avoid the recall of Karamarko. We will vote on Marić, said the President of the Croatian Parliament Božo Petrov at a press conference.
He announced that the order of items for discussion will be respected and that the point regarding the recall of the Minister of Finance will be discussed at the next parliamentary session.
During today’s address to the public, neither Minister Šprlje nor Minister Orepić informed the public about such a scenario. Recall that Minister Orepić commented today that ‘the people need to react because this is an usurpation of power’, to which the President of the HDZ Club Branko Bačić requested Petrov to submit his resignation for calling the people to the streets.
