– By monitoring trends at thematic fairs, we gained insight into the direction of the market and the importance of the fundamental component of every soldier – high-standard functional fabric. Accordingly, in collaboration with partners – fiber and yarn manufacturers, we decided to be the first link and driver of the next generation of military fabrics, announced Čateks.
In the company’s statement, it is stated that they have monitored the camouflage and detection market and, in accordance with that, developed a line of camouflage fabrics targeted for the Ministry of Defense, and guided by their own R&D, they also created camouflage patterns for broader use.

A higher quality and better IR detection-camouflage component, as they state, will be officially presented at the ASDA Split fair taking place at the Spaladium Arena from Wednesday to Friday. Presentations are scheduled for Wednesday from 12 to 5 PM, Thursday from 10 AM to 5 PM, and Friday from 10 AM to 3 PM.
– Čateks is one of the largest textile companies in the region and one of the oldest in Southeast Europe, and our initiative shows how we plan to take a significant role in the market, stated Davor Sabolić, director of the Management Board of the company which consists of three production centers: Textiles (weaving and finishing of fabrics), Politeks (coating and laminating), and Confection.
In recent years, Čateks has strengthened its market position as a manufacturer of technical fabrics and materials for special purposes, the statement concludes.
