The city of Čakovec is organizing the first Čakovec IT lectures and meetings ČIPS on May 4, a conference that brings together renowned IT experts and young innovators with the aim of promoting and inter-sectoral connecting of domestic companies. ČIPS will focus on the application of IT solutions in local government and tourism, as well as the role of new technologies in job creation and necessary changes in the education system.
Planning Future Careers
– We wanted to show the young, educated, and ambitious generation that IT knowledge is important and that success is achievable. Moreover, this entrepreneurial and scientific field hides greater opportunities, but also higher salaries, which is not an insignificant factor in planning future careers. Therefore, we invited the best people from the sector and those who have already started using IT solutions in their work to show by example what is important and what results can be achieved when we open ourselves to changes and new knowledge. ČIPS was born out of the desire to further develop our region in this direction, and we are confident that the diverse topics of the lectures will intrigue visitors, said the mayor of Čakovec, Stjepan Kovač.
Thus, the organizers invite all interested parties to bite into new knowledge at one of the interesting panels and to scoop a handful of ideas from conversations with those who have already dared to embrace modern business.
