The tech giant Google has sent out invitations for its event that will precede Earth Day, and in line with the theme, they promised to present a completely new experience related to their Google Earth service, reports Engadget.
The invitations do not reveal many details, except that the event will take place on April 18 at the Whitney Museum of Art in New York. The team working on the development of Google Earth launched an application late last year that shows a model of the planet Earth through virtual reality.

The application was then available only to those who own an HTC Vive VR set, and the team that created the model promised that the option will be available on other platforms in the near future.
