– Here at this fair is the ‘Zagorje industry in miniature’, from metal processors, caterers, family farms, and farmers, and that is what everyone’s goal is, to present our entire economy – said Anđelko Ferek Jambrek, Deputy Mayor for Economy, about the Zagorje Crafts and Economic Fair taking place yesterday and today at the Oroslavje Cultural Center.
– This is only the second fair, which has more than fifty exhibitors, which is a respectable number and will surely become traditional, said Ferek-Jambrek, praising the entrepreneurial spirit of Oroslavje and congratulating Mayor Tuđa for organizing such a successful festival in a short time.

The Mayor of Oroslavje, Ivan Tuđa, emphasized that Oroslavje has a rich industrial tradition.
– It is a city where thousands of workers were employed in the textile, footwear, and garment industries. It is clear that people want to exhibit at this fair as most of them applied themselves. They want to establish new business contacts, sell something, and earn, and I hope they will succeed in that – he said, emphasizing that there are only 250 unemployed in the Oroslavje area. At the opening of the Zagorje Crafts and Economic Fair was also Robert Blažinović, head of the industry and investment sector from the Ministry of Economy, who praised the Zagorje economy and highlighted it as a positive Croatian example.
