Representatives of the World Media Decided – Jana’s Story of the Eternal Love of Malena and Klepetan Won Silver at the Epica Awards

Jana’s campaign “Malena and Klepetan” and the agency Imago received the prestigious silver award at the international competition Epica Awards, the only creative award whose jury is composed exclusively of media representatives dedicated to advertising and communications. The awarding of the jubilee 30th edition of the Epica Awards, where the Croatian campaign won silver in the category of Online Campaign for Food and Beverages, took place on November 17 in Amsterdam.

On this occasion, the Chief Marketing Officer of Agrokor, Iva Balent, stated:

“The third global recognition awarded to the campaign Malena and Klepetan definitely marked 2016 as the most successful year so far for Jana Water with a message. The emotions brought by this campaign have been transformed into beautiful awards that we are proud of, and the collaboration with our agency Imago has received yet another stamp of quality. I thank once again my entire team for creating this unique story of love that has primarily touched our consumers, and then experts around the world.”

The pre-selection jury of over 100 journalists from around the world, and then the grand jury in strong competition among 3,806 works from 66 countries awarded the prize to Jana’s campaign signed by the agency Imago Ogilvy.

“I am particularly fond of the award at Epica for two reasons. First, because this is the first Epica for Imago, and second because we were awarded by an objective journalistic jury. When creatives award each other, it can sometimes be a professional view of things, detached from reality. However, when the awards come from professional journalists who follow advertising worldwide, then it is quite an objective assessment. What I can promise is that Jana and Imago will certainly not stop here and that the story of boundless love will continue to fly,” says Igor Mladinović, the Chief Creative Officer from Imago Ogilvy.

The Epica competition was founded in 1987. It stands out for its independent approach to the profession and global media coverage. Launched as the first competition within the advertising industry in Europe, it is now regarded as an international recognition of creativity, attracting thousands of entries from over 70 countries each year.
