We are counting down the days until the official start of what many consider the most beautiful time of the year, the lovely and magical Advent. This year, you will be able to experience the warmest festive atmosphere at the Advent at European Square, the only square with a thousand hearts. The beginning of the Advent season in the heart of the city will be marked on November 26 at 20:30 with a concert by the brilliant Pips Chips & Videoclips and the traditional hanging of the thousandth heart.
But this is just the beginning. The organizers of this unique Advent at European Square have ensured that during the 37 days of this year’s Advent and Christmas-New Year celebration, you will experience top-notch entertainment and carefree indulge in the holiday magic. More than 30 stalls will once again adorn European Square, where you can purchase original souvenirs, the sweetest Christmas decorations and gifts, and enjoy a rich offering from catering stalls that will spread the enticing aromas of the finest sweet and savory treats. Given that it is located right at European Square, where other cultures are always welcome, you will have the opportunity to enjoy holiday customs, gastronomic specialties, and cultural diversity from numerous countries of the European Union.
This year, the successful collaboration with Balcony TV Zagreb will continue, bringing young urban performers and bands to the stage under the glass dome, along with the Boonika association and the morning artistic weekend program ‘Ten Easels on Sundays’. The legend of the club scene, Eddy Ramich, will bring world-renowned representatives of dance music to EUadvent, transforming the only square with a thousand hearts into the largest open-air dance floor, while DJs from Yammat FM radio will provide excellent musical background during the day with their infectious dance rhythms, which will be streamed live and will be responsible for legendary daytime parties. To mark the shortest day of the year appropriately, on December 18, you will be able to watch a Short Film Marathon on the big screen titled Rain Shortens Time!
