How can local and regional authorities stimulate the development of their communities?

The round table “Path to Development Results at the Local and Regional Level” will be held on November 30, organized by the business weekly Lider and the Development Agency of Karlovac County in Karlovac – KARLA.

The aim of the round table is to encourage local and regional authorities to strategically reflect on the development of their communities and how it can be achieved, with a special emphasis on ESI funds.

The round table will feature Jakša Puljiz, IRMO – EU funds expert, Sanja Bošnjak, acting prefect of Virovitica – Podravina County, Oliver Kumrić, member of the Management Board of IGH, Viktor Šegrt, director of KARLA.

Local and regional authorities can best manage local development, and effectiveness is achieved in coordination with higher levels of government, which provides a clear framework for strategic planning and decision-making, as well as in collaboration and partnership with the private and non-governmental sectors. Positive examples of practice from Croatia will also be presented at the regional round table.

There is no registration fee for the round table, and you can register here.

The program will take place from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, in the conference hall of Freshwater Aquarium AQUATIKA in Karlovac.
