Presented ZTE ‘Smart’ Mobile Phones

The two-day ZTE Days conference was held at the Westin Hotel in Zagreb, showcasing top-notch ZTE technology in the field of telecommunications.

ZTE is one of the leading global companies in the field of telecommunications and information technology, founded in 1985, with a revenue of 11 billion USD and currently over 18,000 employees. They have been present in the Croatian market for several years, offering telecommunications solutions through telecom operators.

ZTE recognizes innovation as a core value of the company and invests more than 10% of its annual revenue in research and development of new technologies. Some of the new products and technologies were also presented at the conference.

In addition to ‘smart’ phones, which are of the greatest interest to end users, ZTE also presented advanced devices and solutions for Smart Cities, telecommunications devices such as base stations, video surveillance devices, modems, as well as ‘smart’ projectors, etc.

As part of the ZTE Days conference, a press conference was held where the ZTE Axon 7 series was premiered.

The opening speeches were delivered by Mr. Dinko Borić (CEO of Recro) and Yu Dan (Director of ZTE for Europe).

The presentation of mobile devices, along with the sales and marketing vision of ZTE, was conducted by Mr. Vandy Liu – Regional Sales Director for Mobile Devices in Europe.

Since September 2016, ‘smart’ phones can be found not only with telecom operators but also in Recro’s offerings through a retail partner network. A list of retail stores can be found at the link.

Recro is a Croatian distributor of IT equipment, smart phones, and software, established in 1992. Quality is one of the main criteria for supplier selection for Recro, so ZTE, with its ‘smart’ phones, fits perfectly into Recro’s vision and business. The devices are tailored for the Croatian market, and service is also provided in Croatia.

Currently, five ZTE models can be found on our market – Blade L110, Blade A310, Blade V7 Lite, Blade A910, and Axon Mini.

The main focus was on presenting the new Axon 7 model, which, in addition to its top features, comes with a three-year warranty on the entire device, and if you mechanically damage the screen within 6 months of purchasing the device, ZTE will replace it for free. Additionally, if you damage the device with liquid within the three-year warranty period, you are entitled to one free repair. Special emphasis during the device demonstration was placed on audio performance, which is exceptional thanks to the built-in Dolby Atmos audio technology.

Currently, ZTE is the 6th largest manufacturer of ‘smart’ phones in the world, while in the European market, it holds the 4th position. With further advancements in new technology areas and marketing and sales strategies, they plan to position themselves among the top 3 largest manufacturers of ‘smart’ phones in Europe over the next 3 years.
