Minister of Construction Lovro Kuščević Announces ‘Reform of All Reforms’ – Merging of Cadastre and Land Registers

Minister of Finance Zdravko Marić on Tuesday informed the Government about the timeline for budget planning for the next year, while Minister of Construction Lovro Kuščević presented the projects that his ministry will initiate.

Minister of Construction and Spatial Planning Lovro Kuščević acquainted the Prime Minister and fellow ministers with the projects being undertaken in the Ministry and the challenges that lie ahead.

– From my ministry’s portfolio comes the reform of all reforms, which is the merging of cadastre and land registers. The adoption of a new energy efficiency program worth 211 million euros is progressing very quickly, as well as the continuation of the POS program. We will continue to work well as we have so far, Kuščević responded to a journalist’s question after the meeting in the Government.

Zdravko Marić reported to Prime Minister Andrej Plenković about the timeline for budget planning for the next year in his report from his ministry.

– I have acquainted new colleagues and the entire Government with this timeline. The deadlines are short, just like for the tax reform, but everything is feasible, everything will be in line with expectations, and everything will be in accordance with the deadlines, Marić responded to a journalist’s question after the meeting of Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and ministers in the Banski Dvori.

He stated that he would present the tax reform by the end of the week and added: – We will see, you will be informed when it will be on the Government’s agenda.

Minister of Tourism Gari Cappelli emphasizes that tourist numbers are better, but also that tourism is not just about overnight stays and that there are many issues that need to be resolved, including legal regulations.

– One of the most important issues for larger investments and employment is resolving the issue of tourist land. This will enhance quality, employment, and larger investments, not only from foreign but also from domestic investors. Most importantly, these are mostly brownfield investments, meaning we do not disturb nature, we do not disturb protection, etc., Cappelli said in response to journalists’ questions before the meeting of Prime Minister Andrej Plenković with ministers in the Government.

The Minister of Tourism expects support from the Prime Minister in realizing his plans, as the Prime Minister himself insists on investments and increased employment.
