A French nautical expedition is sailing through the Croatian Adriatic, which will explore the charms of the Croatian coast and islands until October 27, documenting the journey in a film and directly engaging with programs of French TV and radio stations as well as on social media.
This was reported by the Main Office of the Croatian Tourist Board (HTZ), whose representative office in Paris and other French and Croatian partners support the expedition launched by the French association Expe2m under the name “Enjoy – a Dalmatian Odyssey.”
The expedition crew consists of eight French members, true nature and sports enthusiasts, all united in their assessment that Croatia is an ideal blend of authenticity and diversity of destinations and natural preservation, as noted by the Main Office of HTZ.
“Discovering the Adriatic from the sea side, numerous coves, islands, and islets is extremely interesting, as is getting to know the Adriatic and coastal flora and fauna and the people who live here and engage in tourism,” the expedition members convey, believing that the untouched beauty of nature should be preserved.
They set off from Trogir and will cover a total of 250 nautical miles, visiting Vis, Hvar, Brač, Kornati, Dugi otok, and other islands of the Croatian Adriatic, while discovering which sports and activities can be pursued there.
“In addition to filming the documentary, a series of publications in leading specialized sports and nautical magazines, as well as numerous radio and television programs, is planned. After the expedition, a mini-guide with eco-nautical tourism routes will be printed, and an exhibition of photographs taken during the expedition will be set up in Marseille, from where Croatia will have a direct air line for the first time starting next year,” they announce from the Main Office of HTZ.
