Uber Offers 20% Lower Ride Prices on the Croatian Coast

Uber has announced that starting Wednesday, October 19, residents of the Croatian coast can ride at 20% lower prices. Uber aims to encourage existing and new users in the areas of Zadar, Split, and Dubrovnik to rely more frequently on their transportation, thereby ensuring their drivers maintain the same level of income as during the season.

– “We want to encourage the local population on the coast to use Uber as a reliable and safe alternative. As we have already seen in Zagreb, lowering prices increases the number of rides, and subsequently the income of our partner-drivers. In this way, partner-drivers will continue to achieve the same level of income even in the period after the summer tourist season,” emphasized Davor Tremac, General Director of Uber for Southeast Europe.

The starting price for an Uber ride in the mentioned areas will be 6 kuna, with a charge of 4 kuna per kilometer and 0.45 kuna per minute. Prices for rides to airports and other destinations near coastal cities remain fixed and are not subject to this discount.
