The Wine School of Bakh’s Son: Nothing in Excess

Longtime wine writer, blogger, and taster Ivo Kozarčanin Bakhov sin has recently published the book ‘The Wine School of Bakh’s Son’. Kozarčanin has taken on the role of a teacher and offers content by grades, through elementary and high school to the final exam that allows attendance at the academy. Here are some titles from this education: On Colors, Aromas, Flavors, The Magic Word Terroir, Every Occasion Has Its Wine, Even Still Wines Are Full of Passion, The Pearls of Sparkling Wines, On Varieties, Soil, Climate, On Wine Evaluation, On 10 Wine Sins and Seven Commandments, On Glass, Wood, On Wine and Health, On History, On Misconceptions, On Truths About Wine… At the end, there is also a very useful alphabet of terms. And right at the beginning of the book, the author advises the reader with the wise Greek saying ‘meden agan’, which means ‘nothing in excess.’
