Last week, Google not only introduced new smartphones but also its intuitive router. Simply named Google Wifi, this router is designed to enable easy connectivity for homes and offices to the internet. The company envisioned the device to be as user-friendly as possible, and the idea is that a larger number of devices can be modularly placed within a space to provide a quality signal, eliminating the need for various extenders. With the help of a smartphone and the appropriate app, it is easy to set up the entire router system, and even temporarily pause access to certain devices if desired. Google claims that internet access is optimized and automatically managed in the background, which is welcome for those who lack the will or knowledge for additional configurations. One device costs $129, while a pack of three is priced at $299. They are expected to be available for sale in December.
