Jadrolinija transported nearly 10 million passengers in the first nine months, traffic 4 percent higher than last year

In the first nine months of this year, Jadrolinija transported about 9.9 million passengers and 2.4 million vehicles, representing an average year-on-year traffic increase of 4 percent, and an increase in revenue is also expected, according to the management of Jadrolinija.

In response to inquiries about the business results of this year’s season, the management of the largest domestic passenger national shipping company emphasized that they are very satisfied with the results and that Jadrolinija has also felt the positive wave of a successful tourist season.

They emphasize that they maintain constant growth in all navigable areas and in all parts of the business, and therefore an increase in commercial revenue is expected, which was around 850 million kuna last year.

With the beginning of October, Jadrolinija introduced a winter sailing schedule, which means fewer shipping lines. Ticket prices for all passengers, except for islanders who use privileged island cards throughout the year, are about 20 percent lower during the winter season than in summer.
