Leadership in procurement is the slogan of this year’s 11th Procurement Conference organized on October 13 by the business weekly Lider and the Croatian Association of Procurement Professionals, where Malcolm Youngson from IFPSM will also speak.
At the conference, Malcolm Youngson will present the International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management, established in 1974 when leading global associations agreed that to develop the profession, share best practices, and support the development of associations, it was necessary to form a community of non-profit organizations.

Since then, the Federation has grown year by year to today’s network of 45 national and regional associations representing a community of over 250,000 professionals.

IFPSM is a unique globally recognized professional federation in the world. Malcolm became a member after working at the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), where he was responsible for all matters related to global membership.
He has extensive experience in executive roles and has worked at the Institute of Engineering and Technology and was the director of the University of Nottingham.
