Đuro Đaković Special Vehicles d.d., a company within the Đuro Đaković group, on October 3, 2016, signed a contract with a French client for the production of special tank wagons of the Zacns series worth 54 million kuna. The wagons will be delivered at the end of the first and during the second quarter of 2017 and are a continuation of the successful cooperation with the French client.
Zacns type wagons are 4-axle tank wagons, thermally insulated and intended for the transport of emulsions, primarily calcium carbonate in all temperature conditions. The wagon is designed, manufactured, and equipped in accordance with the latest European standards and was premiered at the international transport technology exhibition InnoTrans held in late September 2016 in Berlin.
With this project, Đuro Đaković Special Vehicles d.d. confirms the justification of its own development and production of special purpose and design wagons, using special materials and new generation technological equipment that the company has meanwhile integrated into its production processes.
