Ivana Rapić, manager for forensic services at PwC Croatia, is the holder of a globally recognized Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification. Rapić was awarded the certification in early August by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the world’s largest anti-fraud organization and a leading provider of anti-fraud training and education.
Rapić met the ACFE’s requirements regarding the characteristics, experience, and education necessary for the CFE certification and passed a comprehensive exam prepared by the ACFE, demonstrating knowledge in four areas critical to combating fraud: fraudulent financial transactions, fraud prevention and deterrence, legal elements of fraud, and fraud investigation.
This places her among a circle of business and government professionals worldwide who have also received the CFE certification, making her currently the second certified CFE expert in Croatia.
Before joining PwC Croatia, Ivana worked as an audit manager at other major auditing firms. Certified fraud examiners on six continents have investigated over a million suspicions of civil and criminal fraud.
