The issue of competencies in the procurement function is one of the topics we will address at the 11th International Procurement Conference organized by the Croatian Association of Procurement Professionals and the business weekly Lider on October 13 at the Westin Hotel in Zagreb.
At the conference, Ana Miletić, the Director of Strategic Consulting at Selectio, will discuss the topic of competencies in procurement and will define what makes the procurement function specific compared to other functions, what new competencies managers need to develop, and whether managers are leaders.
This year’s conference is held under the slogan ‘Leadership in Procurement’ and will gather between 150 and 200 participants. The conference will also present the results of research on the procurement function in Croatia.
