Speaking at the first Njuškalo real estate conference, ERSTE real estate board member Robert Pokrovac emphasized that in Croatia today it is harder to find a property with the desired characteristics than one at the appropriate price.
– In addition, the supply of older buildings prevails, while the inventory of unsold newer constructions is decreasing, Pokrovac said in his presentation.
He also added that there are not enough new projects, and that the exclusion of professionals in construction planning only contributes to the possibility of a new crisis in the real estate market.
Dr. Joe M. Pons also participated in the discussion on the state of the real estate market held at the Museum of Contemporary Art. He lives in Barcelona and is the founder and president of Axioma Marketing Consultants, specializing in the development of strategic marketing projects and training for the development of managerial skills, which usually include customer-oriented activities. He spoke about the skills a good seller should have as well as the expectations of real estate buyers. He highlighted the need for continuous education of sellers as well as careful selection of employees in companies engaged in real estate sales.
