Croatian companies have signed multi-million contracts with Russian distributors at the international food industry fair “World Food Moscow”, which is being held from September 12 to 15, the Croatian Chamber of Economy reported on Thursday.
Postirska Sardina has secured new orders for its products worth 3 million kuna through the Russian distributor Hayat service, while the company Kaprina has concluded contracts for the sale of dietary supplements amounting to 1 million kuna through its Russian subsidiary Kaprina Moscow. Eurocompany has arranged cooperation with the Russian company Be fresh in the area of selling nuts and dried fruits, while Maraska has signed a preliminary contract with distributors for the Russian market, with exports starting at the beginning of next year.
– Participation in this fair enables the establishment of direct contacts with Russian partners, primarily for the placement of products from the Croatian food industry in this significant, large market, said the director of the HGK office in Moscow, Jakov Despot.
He added that the HGK office, in cooperation with the Croatian embassy and the HTZ office, will continue to work on gathering and engaging the Croatian business community, with the aim of further strengthening the position of the Croatian economy in the Russian market.
