One of the largest tourism companies in the world, the German TUI Hotels & Resorts, will include a hotel from Croatia, from Tučepi, in its portfolio under the new brand TUI Blue next summer, as reported on Wednesday by Guliver Travel, TUI’s partner company in Croatia.
With the opening of the first hotel in Croatia under the new brand TUI Blue, the TUI Group, which includes TUI Hotels & Resorts, continues its strategic transformation into a group of hotels and cruises.
– TUI Hotels & Resorts is a growing segment within the TUI Group, which constantly expands its portfolio of products exclusive to the group, and the specificity of the new TUI Blue hotel brand is the ability to book and purchase services exclusively through TUI’s sales channels,” said Thomas Pietzka, head of TUI Hotels & Resorts, emphasizing that hospitality is a key element of TUI’s development strategy.
– By opening new hotels, including in Croatia under the TUI Blue brand, we want to demonstrate consistency in pursuing our goals and that we continue to expand a unique offering for our guests, said Pietzka.
The first two hotels under the TUI Blue brand were opened in May this year in Turkey, and by the end of this year, they plan to open one each in Tenerife, Austria, and Germany, while for next year, the opening of one in Italy is planned for spring, followed by one in Croatia in the summer.
It will be a hotel from the Bluesun Hotels & Resorts group, owned by Jako Andabak, located on the Makarska Riviera in Tučepi, which has not been operational until now and is currently undergoing complete renovation and adaptation to the TUI Blue concept, and will carry the ‘sub-brand’ TUI Blue Jadran.
