On the official pages of Zagreb Holding, forms are available since yesterday that socially vulnerable individuals, primarily blocked citizens, can download for the purpose of installment debt payments.
Two files are available, one is the “Request Form,” which must be completed in full, and the other is the “Debt Status Report.”
Once completed, the documentation confirming the requested conditions for concluding the “Debt Repayment Agreement” must be submitted at the Zagreb Holding office, Ulica grada Vukovara 41.
The Holding invites citizens to contact the Zagreb Holding Call Center at 072 500 400 for any additional information regarding debt repayment modalities.
Pre-election Reiteration of the Call
Zagreb Mayor Bandić has offered the possibility of deferral, installment payments, partial or complete debt forgiveness since 2012, and the call to citizens (.pdf) was reiterated last month.
– In Zagreb, we have about 70 thousand blocked citizens whom we want to help repay their debts and start anew, and we are also preparing debt forgiveness for citizens from whom the Holding has claims – said the Head of the Economy Department, Mirka Jozić, in August, but it seems that the announced option for forgiveness has fallen through.
